Dear Members and Friends
Due to the Cov19 Pandemic our yearly fundraiser will be virtual and by mail. NFDC receives its funds from membership dues and various fundraising activities. This October 24, 2020 is our Fundraiser and we are requesting all member to donate $60 for our Anniversary Fundraiser efforts. The funds along with resources of its members enable the club to play a vital role in facilitating its participation in the political process, we need your help to make this a success. IT’S A New Day.
The New Frontier Democratic Club was founded by Honorable Sherman Smith, Sr. (deceased Judge, Superior Court of Los Angeles County), during the 1960 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. This club is the oldest and largest African American Democratic Club in California. The organization has been instrumental in the election and appointment of many local, state, and national officials.
