Commissioner Jacquelynn Hawthorne, from the City of Los Angeles Family Services Commission, was chosen by Assemblyman Issac Bryan as Woman of the Year for the 54th Assembly DIstrict Committee. Commissioner Hawthorne serves as a member of the CIty of Los Angeles African American Heritage Month Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles African American Women’s Political Action Committee (LAAAWPAC). Commissioner Hawthorne also serves as the Regional Director of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.
